it's actually usually colder, but MUCH drier, and the sun is out almost all the time making it feel much warmer... as opposed to skiing with an umbrella (jk)

edit: this shot of me was in late March 2 or 3 seasons ago... see how overcast it is? it would have been BRIGHT blue and sunny in Colorado!
