When you fire up a new netbook for the first time, and have NO earthly idea how sensitive the touchpad is - or which buttons are active, it's extremely nerve-racking when the first item on the start-up screen asks you to choose a country and language [with the tender warning that your initial language choice CANNOT be changed EVER] - esp. when you've just acquired one made by a European firm.

This post could have read: kdiwosl ieisowl siiiiwueo

or something similar in Elbonian if my cat had jumped up at the wrong moment.

So I may post some [unintended] nonsense while I get the hang of this thing.
