Yup. But I guess it wasn't intended to fall into the 'feel good' category, ShootingMaNls. It doesn't get any more cheerful as you go on, but I'd advise you to stick with it. I knew it wasn't meant to be a 'feel good' type of book, but I've read other End of the World books where everyone dies in the end that seemed more cheerful than this one. You're right though, beautifully written, and that's what kept me coming back to it.
