Hello From Fabe

Hanover, New Hampshire, USA.

Hi friends, Fabe here, from Hanover, New Hampshire, USA.

I am a newbie to electronic book creation, although I am knowledgeable about print publication. It's a new world, very exciting.

I work on a Macintosh PowerPC G5. That means I am at the Mac OS 10.4.11 ceiling. For word processing I use Apple-Pages and for HTML I use TextEdit, very rudimentary.

After converting my text to HTML, I run it through css & html validators at iWeb Webmasters Toolkit. This site produces good information about error messages. I then upload my HTML file to Calibre for conversion to epub and pdb formats. Lastly, I run the epub file through a validator at Threepress and then spend several hours working out the kinks. As I said, I'm a newbie to this.

One of my POD books is now available on Amazon in five ebook volumes for the Kindle. My personal web site is Foto Fabini and an organization with which I work and am very proud is Konditi Development.

On a personal note, I am tall, rich, and handsome. I am well traveled, well educated, and highly knowledgeable. I am the model for the most interesting man in the world, in the DOS Equis commercials. All my royalties go to charity.

Cheers - Fabe
