I am a newbie to electronic book creation, although I am knowledgeable about print publication. It's a new world, very exciting.
I work on a Macintosh PowerPC G5. That means I am at the Mac OS 10.4.11 ceiling. For word processing I use Apple-Pages and for HTML I use TextEdit, very rudimentary.
After converting my text to HTML, I run it through css & html validators at
iWeb Webmasters Toolkit. This site produces good information about error messages. I then upload my HTML file to
Calibre for conversion to epub and pdb formats. Lastly, I run the epub file through a validator at
Threepress and then spend several hours working out the kinks. As I said, I'm a newbie to this.
One of my POD books is now available on
Amazon in five ebook volumes for the Kindle. My personal web site is

On a personal note, I am tall, rich, and handsome. I am well traveled, well educated, and highly knowledgeable. I am the model for the most interesting man in the world, in the DOS Equis commercials. All my royalties go to charity.
