"Cheap" is the key reason for such sales.

Virtually all netbooks I've tried seem underpowered, not all that light, and butt-ugly. But, they are usually cheap.

On the other hand, not cheap enough. I keep a 13" Mac Book Pro (2.53) at the office (hooked up to an Apple 24" IPS monitor - hence my love for IPS) and take it with me when I travel. It's a bit more $ than a netbook, but well worth it if you use it all the time. And 13" is probably the smallest size for doing any real work while away.

BTW, dmaul1114, a 27" iMac will easily cure your loathing of desktops...

BTW, I do agree with Lee Brimelow on the Flash thing. F**k you Jobs!
