I'm not sure if this counts as dark/urban fantasy, it's sort of an alternate universe historical urban fantasy (I'm making the genre up as I type). At any rate, it's not your usual urban fantasy but if you like urban fantasy you might enjoy the book "The Light Ages", by Ian R. MacLeod. It was one of the best books I read last year. There is a follow up novel set in the same 'verse, I've got it on my TBR list.
I read an urban fantasy series last month geared towards young adults, called "The Mortal Instruments". I really enjoyed some aspects of the novels, others not so much. All in all it wasn't a bad read.
