So we gave up Paname for a small village in NW Lombardy. She found a very good job and we have lived very happily since. She being Italian, from Milano like me and in the same profession helps a lot. Until the little one arrived 3 years ago - thanks to all the upstairs management for that - we went back to Paris many times every year. We still have many friends.

ha, that explains it ! that's a lovely story. i have to say, i think italy is a pretty great place to be in love as well. firenze is one of my favourite cities in the world.
