Actually people bashing the Kindle in the Kindle forum isn't all that prevalent. There is some--especially around the 1984 debacle etc.
But for the most part, this has been the only device area I've seen on Mobileread where so many non-owners/haters post attacking the device etc.
Most of the others tend to serve as what they should be--a place for owners to discuss their device with other owners, and people interested in learning about the device coming to ask questions of owners.
