Yes, Bill, I wholeheartedly agree that it is good to have the option to buy just what you need to fill out the JBL. And the items I have purchased (batteries and SD card, etc.) can be used for other purposes. So no complaints.

However, I get the impression that the competition which costs $230-$250 includes all that you need. So to compare apples with apples, it's not really fair to compare the JBL at $99 with the PocketBook 360 at $230. For me it's more like $170 vs. $230.
