Ok,

I broke down and bought an iPad

Initial impressions are that its an awesome new toy. Its a little heavy, its a little big. The epub support of ibooks does not seem to be a problem for me. The on book Ive loaded looks great!. I like the iBooks app better than the kindle for the 2 page layout of landscape view. That is really nice, and I hope kindle adds the same.

Will it replace my PR505? I dont really think so. The battery, size and weight of my sony win the day. But I will read on my iPad? Some I think. If AAPL came out with 5-7" ipad, then I may consider giving up my sony. But not yet.

Will ipad replace my netbook? Nope. Strangely enough the ipad does not really compete my netbook unlike what other people think. I think most of my utilization is going to be as a webpad.
