Kindle, B&N, & Kobo are all limited to just eBooks bought from the respective shops. I have ePub I have removed the DRM and fixed the formatting how I want it. I also may want specific embedded fonts. None of them work how I want. My 505 allows me to do what I want. It's not eink vs LCD, but closed (with limited functionality) vs being a lot more open to the way I work.
