Agreed. My Kindle DX doesn't have that problem (I had heard about that problem before receiving it and tested my DX as soon as it arrived). So it is not a problem that affects all epaper devices.

To weigh in on the current discussion, I'm not sure if the iPad would replace my Kindle DX. I use my DX mainly for manga (which is mostly black and white) and it works really well for that purpose. I would have to try manga out on the iPad and see how it compares. I could see myself owning both devices as my Kindle DX is solely a reading device and the iPad has lots of other functionality.
