Gee, I'm sorry you can't read the text on a IPAD!
Did you mean to say " I can't read the text in BRIGHT SUNLIGHT" or "the text is so small I can't make out the letters" or "the glare is so bad the IPAD seems like a mirror" or "the backlight hurts my eyes and it's like looking into a LIGHT and I can't see the text".
Can you read the text on your phone/gps/camcorder LCD/camera LCD in the same lighting places. I know I can't see any of the texts on those type devices on a BRIGHT SUMMER DAY. Yes I can see the TEXT on my Sony 505 in BRIGHT summer day but I can't see it in a dark room or at night or lots of other places, like in dark car or in bed. Whereas I could make out the TEXT no problem in those places with the IPAD or the devices I listed above.
How many times did you go reading in the BRIGHT sunny beach last year, I rather surf and get a tan or talk with people than read a book, and if I'm into reading at the beach I bring my MP3 audio books.
But everybody is different , so maybe you can't see the text on the IPAD for some reason you fail to mention, so it's unreadable , but all your other ereaders are readable?
