I'm not a big fan of pain medications, but I will take them when pain is unbearable. As soon as it reaches a level where I can stand it, I leave them behind. The result is that I always end up with bottles of unused pain meds that I save for emergencies. Most of them eventually get outdated and thrown out. I can't let anyone know I have them, though. There are certain people in my life who eat those things like candy, and they would be pestering the hell out of me to give them what's left of the bottle.
