I kind of did that for the last 10 days (in case anyone noticed my absence). one of the gun clubs I belong to has a primitive camping site. I loaded up the dog, the cat, some gear, a couple of rifles and roughed it. no power, no running water (there is a well), cooking everything over an open fire, shooting black powder every day. my only concesion to modernity were my Kindles and the car charger. it was devine!
