Any mention of 'days' in our part of the world usually refers to 'working days', i.e. Monday to Friday (especially when you are dealing with banking institutions) and inevitably problems occur on Fridays. So 10 days is often a "minimum" of 2 weeks here.
They *will* blame the problem on anyone else but themselves, you just know this is going to happen.
I hope they get it sorted soon for you Zelda. You should ask them to pro-rate your next bill due to interruption of service.
