Absolutely. I am guessing that they didn't put the power socket in the iLiad for internal space reasons, but it's hard to imagine a more awkward placement of the multipurpose cable socket or a less ergonomic design for the cable and "hub". I'm guessing that they thought they'd have a cradle out right away (it's been coming "real soon now" for about a year, I think). Personally, I'm not sure I'd want to read with the iLiad in a cradle, either. I'd have much preferred a regular power socket in the upper half of the device somewhere, where it could be out of the way while reading. Especially considering the short charge life of the iLiad. Oh well. I still like the beast.
