The difference is you don't end up with lines in a pool. If I remember correctly cleaning a big pool is hard work so I totally get why someone would get a robot to to this job. As for cutting grass I prefer to do it myself but than again I don't have that much grass to cut. I do however wish I had an electric lawn mower.
