Tales from the Green is my light-hearted take on fairy tales, adventure, and epic fantasy, following the tale of a lazy and apathetic suburban teen who is transported against his will into another world. Book 1 of the series is ~65,970 words.

When Alex was a child he lived to hear his grandfather's stories of his supposed adventures in the mythical forest world known as the Green. Of course, now that he's older he has given up on believing in old fairy tales. Too bad they didn't give up on him. When Alex tries to play the old wooden flute the old man gave him for a birthday present he finds that the stories are all too real as he is swept away into the Green himself! Now to return home he must learn what it means to be a hero in a world where magic reigns and humans are a myth that many would rather forget.
