What I've seen of the Slate so far, it's something I'd like to buy. The JooJoo is way too expensive for what you get.

But if she had walked into an apple store and got an iPad and a card reader dongle then she would have the cheapest most user friendly tablet currently available for her to show her images off.
Again people are complaining but can never suggest anything better, Im not saying it is perfect but go on suggest something better for displaying images on that is remotely similiar eg size, battery life, screen quality and that you could actually buy.
no one so far knocking the iPad has come up with a current alternative atthe same price much less cheaper! I bet you werent able to recommend to your mum what she should get! now she has nothing when the iPad would have been perfect
