I just made meatballs for the first time ever, and they didn't come out too bad! I'm inordinately pleased with myself. I still have over a pound of ground turkey (it was BOGO at the grocery store), so I'm going to look for another recipe and freeze a batch.
On that note, I kicked butt in the grocery store today. If you bought three items from a particular group, you get 20 cents off gas. Two of the items I bought I had coupons for (toilet paper and dishwasher detergent, who doesn't need more of that?) and the third was cereal. I also got another 10 cents off a gallon since I hit over $100 this quarter. THEN I had a coupon for $1 off Starbucks 5oz coffee, and for buying it today I got an additional $1 off my next grocery purchase. And to get rid of the eggs, I got 3 brownie mix things for $1 each, I'll whip those up and feed the office.
