Just finished mowing my lawn for the first time in 2010 - finally removed enough leaves to dry it out enough.
And - of course - I was bitten by a spider - on the neck! Don't know if I got too close to the evergreen bushes or if it was trebucheted in by certain MR members residing in other countries. Didn't hang around for its picture to be taken - but was a solid black shiny body (around 5 mm diameter) with very thin black legs - about a 3 cm leg span. Anybody missing a pet corresponding to this description?
