Do you mean that it saves the last read position? Yes, that seems true. But there doesn't seem to be a way to create and then later reference multiple bookmarks in one ePub book.
If the capability just doesn't exist, that's fine. But since it does seem to exist with the HTML parser, I found it curious that it doesn't seem to with ePub files.
