My partner seems quite pleased with my sony reader. He was overjoyed when I started clearing out the public domain classics on the bookshelves (which I now have on the reader) because there's now a bit more space for some of his books. He's also noted that I don't seem to have such a bad Amazon habit.
And he's taken to showing it to any other visiting academics, saying, 'It's the future of reading'. I suppose that I will have to buy him one of his own.
