Sounds like a bug, I'll look into it.

To reset the UI, do this:
  1. Go to Start->Run and type in "regedit" (without the quotes).
  2. Find the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Strahinja Markovic" folder.
  3. Delete it.
  4. Start Sigil.
