This thread is prompted by a remark my wife recently made, "That Sony was one of the best things you've bought."

She was with me when I bought it. I was looking at it in a Boarders and she said, "Just go ahead and buy it, you know you want it." She had missed lunch that day and we were on our way to dinner so hunger may have had a role to play in her actions.

These incidents aside, she has reacted very well toward the unit and depending upon where we are going will often suggest that I take it along. It seems that if I'm reading I am more willing to let her take longer than otherwise. Shopping, I can sit an read while she takes however long she wants and doesn't worry if I'm getting restless or have finished what I'm reading. (There's always another book waiting.)
