Actually this isn't tedious.

there are 3 ways you could do this faster...

1. You can drag and drop one or more files. I used my Mac... you just drag the file(s) to the library in the left panel.

2. If you use "add to library" menu option you can select more than one file at a time.

3. If you use "add to library" menu you can also select a folder and it will bring in all the file types it supports.
