I have Vista 64 SP2 on my Desktop and XP SP3 on my netbook. I never plug the Pocket Pro into the PC though I always pop the card out and into my card reader instead.
When my old hard drive corrupted three weeks ago Ubuntu Live CD came to my rescue in saving my data before the drive failed completely. I now keep a copy just for such an emergency.
I plan to upgrade to Windows 7 soon. Vista is really irritating. However It's the most stable OS I have own. I never had any crashing like with XP and previous Windows versions but it's has several annoyances. It's slow in moving/copying files, The Search feature is horrible. I use Terracopy and XYplorer to work around this. I would never buy Vista it came with my PC.
