Laid up after having surgery for kidney stones, so I purchased "The Warded Man" and "The Years of Rice of Salt to pass some time, but I haven't even looked at them yet. If you want to be sick and have time to read, kidney stones are not the answer- man alive, do they hurt.

I haven't had much sympathy from my wife, though, who gave birth to my youngest daughter naturally with no anesthetic Just kidding, she's awesome. Men can be babies when we are sick.

beppe, what are you impressions of "Life of Pi" so far? Loved it the first time I read it, and I am thinking about a reread soon.
