With the recent dry weather being particularly good for wildflowers we went in search of some yesterday. The highways near Brenham were chock full of people stopping and gazing at many large fields of bluebonnets and paintbrush. But on the way home through back roads, we found at least 11 different flowering species in one little spot. It was a very nice day, though mostly cloudy.
