The
legitimate resale value of a "used" object is based on (a) a physical object of which there is a limited supply and/or (b) the willingness of a person to buy a devalued version of the original...i.e. they don't mind the hole in the left pocket of their designer jeans.
When speaking of digital content, there is no (a) or (b), so...no, legitimate resale... I don't think so. Perhaps people need to learn to shop carefully and be content with actually owning the product.
