I like FW's layout a lot more than Kobo. Kobo's not friendly to dialup. Also, FW sells multiformat books; Kobo doesn't. Since I don't buy DRM'd ebooks at all, Kobo is useless to me.
Fictionwise, as an aggregate of many small ebook publishers of non-DRM'd books, has a competitive niche in the ebook market if it can figure out how to capitalize on it.
