WHEN we first thought of doing a red color we went to this forum. For two weeks people on here hand-picked ALL the colors using what is known as a Pantone Color Chart. One of their main recommendations was: do not do fire-engine red or Christmas-red... it will be TOO bright and TOO glitzy.
The red on the Pocket PRO is clearly a "Maroon"... a red with definite black tone to it. That Maroon is now one of the most popular colors as it looks great yet provides great contrast to the screen. When you get it you will immediately see what I mean. This is not a glossy or flashy red. It is a deep red but much more subdued by the black toning.
It is NOT cellphone red or iPod red!! This is clearly a very subdued red that is shockingly beautiful and FUN to read from!
