who knows what people will think of them in a few hundred years. i'm pretty sure shakespeare (who is often quite bawdy...) was not considered "high culture" in his time, he was writing entertainment for the masses. anyway sometimes the distinction between so-called "high culture" and anything else seems pretty blurry... i think your stories are brilliant.
