I've moved across the country (the U.S.) a couple of times, and each time the majority of the moving truck was filled with books. I have some old/rare books, but mostly it's just my collection of not-quite-every book I've ever owned. As a book junkie and former grad student in the humanities, that's a lot of books. I fell in love with my current condo because the second bedroom was converted into a library (wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcases). I was doing pretty well with fitting my collection into the library until my book-collecting boyfriend moved in.

So, since we're out of room again anyway, it's a good time to get the Reader. I'm certain I won't be able to completely stop buying paper books, but maybe I can at least slow down the tide. And maybe I will actually sell/donate some of my old books, as I have been planning to do for years.
