I am normally allergic to extended warranties, but a portable reader is also a droppable reader. I have dropped mine several times and have just been lucky. I have no extended warranty and considering that my Chinese family nicknamed me "the elephant" for my tendency to bump into things and knock them over, maybe I need this "I break it, you buy it" plan.
