I've gotten my iLiad v2 from the Dutch equivalent of Ebay. It's like I bought a new one for half the price.
Idle battery-life is still 15 hrs. So if you really want an iLiad you might want to consider a second hand one. A lot of readers with better screen technology and software will be released within a year anyway.
