best alarm clock ever !!!! little tip for you : i had an alarm clock which was really difficult to set, so i just left it alone. it was accurate 6 months of the year, and the rest of the time it prevented me from being late.

wow, multifocal ? really ? i didn't realise that was possible. sounds tricky. do you have to orient your eyes according to the distance of what you want to look at ? like, if something is very close but above you, do you have to tip your head back to look through the bottom portion of the lens ? (i'm not making fun of you, i'm sincerely curious about how they work)

cats have also learned how to do this, embedding high tones which are specifically keyed to be unbearably annoying into a purr, to incite action for whatever it is they want (food, usually). damned cats are far too smart.

i frequently have the impression of travelling forward in time at a rate of several hours per hour. sadly, i've not yet found a method for reversing the direction.

Dreading midterms later today. Being happy about setting up a DIY scanning setup that actually is pretty efficient. Listening to the neighbor's grandkids playing next door. And last but not least, still reeling from the bomb my daughter dropped on us last weekend - I'm going to be a grandmother.

crikey, that's quite a program !! good luck with everything !!!

This looks like the oddest biscuit (unsweetened scone?) recipe on record, but it's the only one I've ever used that actually has a texture I like (I don't like the texture of drop biscuits). This is a roll out and cut in circles type recipe; as opposed to drop spoonfulls on a sheet.

please to add to the recipe thread ? thank you !
the same goes for your scones recipe, patricia.
