Good luck with the mid-terms! (are you taking or grading?)
Ok, well then the guy from Costco isn't from Alaska either :P
Unfortunately, I'm taking the mid-terms. 2 more years to go on this Bachelor's degree program. We have a Houdini for a cat too, so I feel your pain. She can claw through duct tape though - we had to replace all our screening with the old fashioned metal kind, instead of the light nylon stuff.

Right now drinking a glass of Porto, reading A Room with a View on my Opus, and making weird scribbles on a sketchbook.
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups heavy cream.
This looks like the oddest biscuit (unsweetened scone?) recipe on record, but it's the only one I've ever used that actually has a texture I like (I don't like the texture of drop biscuits). This is a roll out and cut in circles type recipe; as opposed to drop spoonfulls on a sheet.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and Thank you! .
