Apple’s iPad Camera Connection Kit finally appeared on the Apple Store Web site on Saturday. The kit lets users download images from SD cards and digital cameras directly to to their iPad, and is set to ship near the end of April. The kit includes a USB camera cable adapter and SD card reader that connect to the iPad’s Dock port, and Apple says the iPad supports importing standard photo formats such as JPEG and RAW.

Can I transfer eBooks via SD card too?
