In the post, he uses the word "likely", so I'm not sure if he has a source.
However, I'm a big fan of identifying the difference between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. IMO, the spirit of DRM is to prevent us from buying an e-book, making copies, and either selling or giving it away. In this particular instance, I want access to e-books that I purchased from one platform and use it on another.
