I've sent my Sony 505 to a Sony Repair Centre in Montreal, and I'm waiting for the verdict !
I hope it can be repaired ... otherwise I'll only be able to use it when I'm at home, because I can start it by plugging it into my computer and then I can use it unplugged. Of course, I cannot shut it down but it will shut down automatically after an hour if there are no activities .....
The start/stop key slider is the problem ...
Maybe I could figure out a way to connect a battery hub to the small usb receptable to jump start it ?!?
