a.) Find the site in the US, where you can get BeBook Neo/Onyx Boox for the lowest price.
Neo and Boox are identical in hardware, firmware can be swapped.
b.) I've used USUnlocked, Shipito was another tip. Both will give you proposals about total costs.

When briefly checking, I've found 2 sites, both offering for $ US 339:
Dulin's book https://www.mobileread.com/forums/member.php?u=48313 (they are frequently in this forum, you can contact them directly) and onyxboox.com.
$ US 339 should add up to something in the range of:
$ US 339 = US list price
$ US 40 = shipment
$ US 60 = customs and VAT (just a wild guess, I have no idea about Australia. But I found that for some European countries and others have confirmed the range. Sometimes you have to pay, sometimes you don't...).
$ US 30 if you have to pay commission to a 3rd party.

So you should end up between $ US 380 and $ US 470 = between $ AU 420 and $ AU 520. At least below the $ AU 536 you've found locally (I wouldn't order from the US for savings of $ AU 16 because of warranty, but for $ AU 116 it may make sense).
I'd talk to Dulin's book. It should be possible to avoid (customs and) commission that way. If you're lucky, you may get it for $ AU 420.
