Somewhat confusingly, the word donger sounds identical to the word
donga which is a kind of portable house. They're widely used in the mining industry where permanent infrastructure is difficult and expensive to arrange.
So don't be too alarmed if an Australian tells you that his donger has to be transported on the back of a truck. He might mean donga. But then again he might not....
