True about Apple being a hardware vendor mostly, but it will depend on how much revenue Apple anticipates from ebook sales. If it's significant, they will wall-off the iPad.

I doubt it though, since I do not think they anticipate the ebook market to be significant. I believe they are more focused on video content, where they anticipate the largest growth, and apps (hence the lack of Flash).
