Okay I'm shooting in the dark here, without more info, it's hard for me to guess what is the root cause.


Calibre .6 changed the executable name and later on changed the directory path, so users could have both calbire .6 and earlier on the same machine. If you have the latest BC then it is targeted to work with the latest calibre.

Info that helps diagonse problems is

What version of BookCreator (BC)?
What version of calibre?
What Version of Word?

And what error are you getting.

Another bit of info is to run the tool with the debug option set to on. This saves the the command line that is sent to calibre to a debug.txt file in the same location as the word document.

Running that command in the command line will help identify the error BC is having.
