I just charged mine for the first time after the initial charge. I figured that after over a month of daily use, even though the battery meter was still reading 1/2, that I would go ahead and recharge. I didn't pay too much attention to it, but it took a couple of hours for the charging light to go from red to green (charging from my computer USB port.)
