And all that. I've got nothing against contractions or abbreviations. IMO, they've all got a right to exist. Abominations like those above, though, don't.

Come to think about it, there's another word: "Carebear".
Especially the way it is used in the Eve Online forum. It's a synonym for "Someone who is playing the sandbox-like game in a way that does not benefit ME and thus shouldn't be valid."...
(At least it's used that way. :-/)

Might be, but how else can you easily specify those groups? Skin color is a pretty good divider, even if the usually applied colors aren't anywhere close to realistic.

I don't mind if anyone uses the word "potty". It sure beats describing in more detail what they're about to do.
Sometimes euphemisms aren't that bad.
