It's a Green & Blacks recipe ...

drinking chocolate (used G&B cocoa) 3.5 oz
self-raising flour 8 oz
castor sugar 7 oz
DARK CHOCOLATE 3.5 oz
unsalted butter 4.5 oz
cooked beetroot 9 oz
3 large eggs (I substituted)

7 inch cake tin, buttered and floured. 180 oven temp. sift cocoa powder/flour/sugar. melt chocolate & butter. Puree beetroot. Whisk eggs. Stir eggs into puree. Add beetroot and chocolate/butter into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Bake 50 mins (or so)....

I've been looking into something like these, also known as "Earthbox". Seems a simple idea, but don't know how effective they are in terms of yield etc. Seems a little expensive, though there are numerous ideas for DIY ones.
