I'm not normally too bothered (normally just amused) by most things suggested in this thread, usually figuring if the message is communicated successfully to me then language has done its basic job. However, I must admit to a rabid dislike of a compound similar to Steve's suggestion above: the use of "un-Australian" (especially by pollies and journos)
